Landslide Victory

The Central Mountain Wildcat wrestling team celebrated senior night with a one-sided victory by defeating Centre County rival, State College 72-0.
Logan Bechdel, Dillon Gavlock, Andrew Alton, Dylan Alton, Tyler Buckwalter and Dylan Caprio all garnered pins for Wildcats while Joey Miller, Jordan Rich, Briab Brill, and Blaze Buckwalter contributed decisions. Cole Hanley, Bryant Vannoy, Cody Dolan and Zach Corl all received forfeits in the shut-out win.

Senior Night
The Central Mountain varsity wrestling program honored it’s senior members of the squad during opening ceremonies of the State College match. Special thanks to all the seniors, their parents and families for their contributions to Wildcat wrestling.
Senior members include: Justin Bower, Bryant Vannoy, Corin Lyons, Jordan Rich, Andrew Alton, Dylan Alton, Dylan Caprio, Cody Dolan and David Petruzzi.

The Lady Wildcats came out on the short end of a hectic defensive low-scoring battle with Central. Both teams frustrating their opponent’s offense with CM coming losing 32-26.
Charese Bova led the Lady Wildcats with 11 points while Rimma Heverly and Kaylin Smith each added 5. Heverly and Johnna Garbrick each had four steels on the night.
